Far more powerful than traditional ultrasound systems, the Mectron Micropiezo S Scaling Unit features the latest ultrasound technology which recognises external influences and offsets them automatically to deliver constant optimum performance for every application. It also features an Automatic Protection Control which interrupts power in case of wear or incorrect fitting of an insert to the handpiece. The handpiece itself fits comfortably in the operator’s hand and is fully autoclavable and compatible with a choice of over 40 Mectron inserts opening up even more treatment options.
Incorporating an easy to clean filter to prevent passage of suspended particles, the water flow is continuously adjustable and can be interrupted simply by pressing the on/off button.
Extremely competitively priced, the Mectron Micropiezo S is supplied with a choice of 2 or 4 inserts, footswitch and torque wrench.

Available with a choice of 2 or 4 inserts, the Mectron Micropiezo S Scaling Unit is easily connected to an external water supply and can also be used as a light curing unit simply by connecting the optional Mectron Starlight P curing light, the unit automatically detecting the difference and switching mode.
