DTE Piezo Scaling Tips

GD1 – Used to remove calculus plaque on supragingival, neck of teeth and hard calculus on the teeth point.

GD2 – Used to remove supragingival heavy calculus.

GD3- Used to remove the calculus of supragingival, subgingival and interdental.

GD4 – Used to remove all supragingival calculus and plaque.

GD5 – Used to remove supragingival neck calculus and plaque.

GD6 – Used to remove supragingival heavy calculus.

GD7 – Used to remove dental crown.

GD8 – Used to remove dental crown, with apoore.

Periodontics

PD1 – Used to remove subgingival calculus.

PD3 – Used to remove subgingival and deep perio calculus.

PD4 – Used to remove subgingival calculus and interdental calculus.

PD3D – Used to level off the surface of endo during the periodontal falp surgery.

PD2L – Left-angled, to remove calculus from very narrow inter-root spaces and furcation.

PD2R- Right angled, to remove calculus from very narrow inter-root spaces and furcation.

PD2LD – Left-angled, diamond coated, to remove calculus from very narrow inter-root spaces and furcation.

PD2RD – Right-angled, diamond coated, to remove calculus from very narrow inter-root
spaces and furcation.

Endodontics

ED1 – (120° Angle Holder) for: NITI K-Files, usually used for premolar root canal cleaning, sterilising and taking out the stem in root canal.

ED2 – (95° Angle Holder) for: NITI K-Files, usually used for distomolar root canal cleaning, sterilising and taking out the stem in root canal.

ED3 – After root canal cleaning, using the mechanism and heat energy of ultrasonic vibration to intenerate the filling lateral condensation, to make sure the top of the scaler tip touch the lateral condensation.

ED3D – Used to remove the calcifi cation and bad filling material of pulp cavity, overhang pulp
chamber.

PD4D – Can replace the traditional G reamer, used for preparing good endo jaws.

ED4 – To remove obstructions and broken instruments in the mid-upper thirds of large and straight canals.

ED4D – Diamond-coated, for retreatments of extremely hard materials.

ED5- To remove calculus and removing temporary cements and broken instruments in the coronal third.

ED5D – Diamond-coated, with enhanced cutting and abrasive power laterally. Specially useful for removing very hard materials on the canal wall

ED8 – Burs holder, used to expand root canal and grind teeth.

ED9 – Burs holder, used to expand root canal and grind teeth.

ED10 – Used for root canal softly treatment.

ED10D – Used for the root canal retrogression, efficient root apical polishing (diamond coated).

ED11 – Used for root canal softly treatment.
